After School Program
Through the After School Program, services are provided for “at risk” children from middle school through high school, who live at the Harris Home or in DHR supervised homes. A structured program of tutoring, computer assistance, art, counseling, and recreation is offered four days a week throughout the year. This program is designed to promote personal development, while enabling the child to enhance academic and interpersonal skills.
Behavior Aid Program
In collaboration with the Department of Human Resources, children of various ages who live in foster homes or DHR supervised homes and families are monitored through our Behavioral Aide Program. Services provided by our agency include: transportation (in county and out of county) to appointments, supervised visits between biological parents and/or siblings and other extended family members, sitter service, parenting, crisis intervention and tutoring services. We have highly qualified staff to work with families helping them improve family relations as well as social skills development.
