The Basic Care Residential Care Program provides services for both male and female adolescents with mild emotional and/or behavioral problems. These young men and women are educated on how to replace negative behaviors with appropriate self-discipline behaviors. When these youths are ready to graduate from the program, hopefully within one year, they will either move back into the home with their families, move to foster homes, or are moved into the Harris Home for Children Transitional Living Program.
